A couple of weeks ago I photographed this male Anna’s Hummingbird basking in the sun while posing on a dried flower.  These birds totally amaze me – I love how tiny they are and how fast they move.  This one sat still on the flower for about 10 seconds – just long enough for me to focus on him and snap off a couple of shots.
