Last month I visited Joshua Tree National Park for the first time. Unfortunately, I only had part of a day there, but I was amazed by the park and I am determined to go back at some point to photograph the park in more depth. I can’t think of anywhere else I have been where the landscape is so diverse and interesting. Of course the Joshua Trees are really unusual – unlike any other tree I have seen – but the crazy rock formations are just as interesting.
The picture below shows a view from White Tank Campground where you can also see Arch Rock (photo above). The crazy landscape here is a mix of boulders, desert, Joshua Trees and on the horizon, rock formations.
