Washington State Scenic Photo Hotspot – Mukilteo Lighthouse

The Mukilteo Lighthouse is a favorite western Washington scenic photography spot.  With the Puget Sound and Whidbey Island in the background and the adjacent ferry dock it is a great spot for scenic sunrise and sunset shots.  A wide angle lens is helpful for capturing more than just the lighthouse – you are shooting close to the lighthouse and a wide angle lens is needed to get the surrounding scenery, like ferrys at the dock, into the photo.
