Acclaimed photographer Ansel Adams made the Snake River Overlook in Grand Teton National Park famous with his classic 1942 black and white photo. I took many photos from the overlook when I visited the park this summer, and decided to process this sunset shot in black and white as a tribute to Adams and his stunning photography. The photo is not the exact shot that Adams took–it is actually pointing more to the north–but is another example of the variety of wonderful shots available from the overlook.
