During a trip earlier this month to the Reifel Bird Sanctuary in British Columbia we saw and photographed quite a few male and female Wood Ducks, including the male duck in the photograph above who was hanging out on a floating piece of tree branch. Wood Ducks have to be one of the prettiest ducks – their colors are truly amazing!
The Reifel Bird Sanctuary is an amazing place with a wide variety of native and migrating birds available for viewing. Highly recommended for bird watching or photography.
