Last week I had the opportunity to photograph some fantastic seabirds at the Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge on the island of Kauai in Hawaii.  This included Red-tailed Tropicbirds like the one in the photo above.

Kilauea Point features a historic lighthouse at the end of a point which is surrounded by tall sea cliffs.  Seabirds such as tropicbirds, Great frigatebirds and Red-footed boobies circle the cliffs and the lighthouse and dive into the surrounding ocean looking for a meal.
