While on the island of Kauai in Hawaii a few weeks ago I went on a great photo tour with Kauai Photo Tours. We visited many interesting places on the tour, both scenic places as well as places featuring great wildlife – primarily sea birds and turtles.

One of the best places that our tour guide Damon Moss took us was the Queen’s Bath tidal pools near Princeville. In one of the inlets at Queen’s Bath there were at least a dozen large Sea Turtles swimming in a small inlet.  The turtles appeared to be feeding on something in the water near the rocks that surrounded the inlet.  The picture below is of that inlet.  We were able to climb down the rocks on the side in order to photograph the turtles from only ten or so feet away as shown in the photo at the top of this post.
