After being absent from the local Edmonds waterfront for a number of months, there are now many of these interesting birds back in the area.  They are fun to watch swimming, diving and flying near the Edmonds fishing pier where I snapped this photo of a Pelagic Cormorant diving for its lunch on a recent afternoon.
