A solitary Horned Grebe reflected in the water late in the day at the Edmonds Marina. Grebes have returned to the Edmonds waterfront for the winter and I have been seeing quite a few Horned Grebes and a few Western Grebes near the public fishing pier. This shot was taken from the fishing pier looking back into the marina. I liked the peaceful mood of the bird floating on the still water in the fading light of the afternoon.
