This is the second of three photos that I have on display at the Edmonds Library until the middle of September for the 2015 Puget Sound Bird Fest.  This bird is a small falcon called a Merlin. It was hunting over the Edmonds marsh when I snapped this photo of it flying from the top of an evergreen tree in hot pursuit of a potential meal.
