I think that one of the prettiest planes in the Historic Flight Foundation’s (HFF) collection is their Beechcraft Staggerwing D17S. The gorgeous red biplane, built in 1944, is a frequent performer at the foundation’s airshows. I recently had the opportunity to photograph the plane on the ground and in the air over Paine Field at HFF’s Biplane Fly-in.
