I’m very excited to have my photo of the the Commemorative Air Force’s C-47 Skytrain “Old Number 30” selected as a finalist in the Smithsonian Air & Space magazine 2016 photo contest. The photo was taken at Falcon Field in Mesa, Arizona, and includes members of the Arizona Ground Crew with their authentic World War II uniforms, vehicles and equipment.
