I really love the look of my Pacific Northwest landscape and wildlife photography on large metal prints. These prints are a great way to remember a favorite iconic landscape or animal. Pacific Northwest photography wall art is also a great decorating option to brighten up and bring some pop to the walls of a home or commercial space. Large metal prints are so lifelike that you can almost imagine that you could walk right into the scene.
Below is an example of a large metal print of Mount Shuksan and Picture Lake in northwest Washington.
All of my photos of iconic landscapes from Washington and Oregon are available on both metal and canvas. However, I’m finding that customers currently really favor metal prints. Metal prints are made by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets, resulting in vibrant luminous prints that are extremely realistic looking and make you feel like you are part of the scene. One great feature of both of these prints (versus traditional prints on photo paper) is that no framing is required–the prints come ready to hang and you save the cost of matting and framing.
In addition to landscapes, I love to photograph wildlife, especially birds and these look great on metal prints too. Owls are one of my favorite bird subjects and below is an an example of a 24″ by 24″ metal print made from one of my Short-eared Owl photographs.
