Seattle Times Reader’s Lens Bluebird

I was very excited to find one of my photographs of a Mountain Bluebird published in the Seattle Times this weekend! The photograph was the weekly selection for the Reader’s Lens feature of the Pacific NW Magazine. (You may need a subscription to the Times to see the story at the link above. Here’s another link to their Instagram story about the photo.)

I recently published a blog post about my June trip to Ellensburg, WA, to photograph these beautiful birds when I took this photo. I also published another post last year that provides more information about the bluebirds at this location on Umptanum Road in Ellensburg.

One of these photographs could look great on your wall as a large metal print or as a holiday gift for a bird lover in your flock. You can learn more about my metal and canvas wall art here.

Photographs taken with Nikon Z8 camera and Nikon Z 180-600mm lens.
