The Edmonds Marsh in Edmonds, WA is one of the few urban saltwater estuaries remaining in the Puget Sound area, and a great place for birding.  This Great Blue Heron was sitting in the marsh late in the day yesterday when the water level in the marsh was especially high, and would occasionally grab something to eat out of the water.  At this particular time there were around ten herons sitting in various places in the marsh.  The boardwalk at the marsh can be a great place to view Great Blue Herons!
