A few weeks ago I visited the Leadbetter Point Unit of the Willapa National Wildlife Refuge on the Long Beach peninsula to do a little birdwatching. There wasn’t much around that early afternoon (probably not the greatest time to be looking), but I did see a handful of Greater Yellowlegs and snapped a few photographs.
There were also some Caspian Terns on the Oregon side of the Columbia River that I featured in an earlier post. Here’s one more shot.
