My photograph of a wild hog was recently published in the Fall/Winter 2015/2016 issue of Nature Photographer Magazine. The shaggy hog was peering at me from the tall grass at the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge in Florida.

I used a 400mm telephoto lens for the shot and didn’t get too close to the hog–from what I understand they can be pretty mean!
