I took this photo while doing some birding on the Lowell Riverfront Trail in Everett, WA.  The trail runs along the Snohomish River and is a great place to see Cormorants, ducks, and other water birds  in the river, as well as wide variety of songbirds, woodpeckers and other birds in the woods on the other side of the trail.  On this particular day (an unusually clear fall day in the Pacific Northwest) the sky and the colored barns on the other side of the river were reflected perfectly by the calm water of the river making for an interesting “mirror image” shot.
