On Saturday May 9th the Historic Flight Foundation at Paine Field in Mukilteo, Washington, remembered the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain. The festivities included a flight by a Supermarine Spitfire and a Hawker Hurricane, two aircraft that defended England during the Battle of Britain. The Spitfire was from the Historic Flight Foundation collection and the Hurricane was from the Flying Heritage Collection.

It was a thrill to watch these two World War II warbirds put on a show, including several passes over the field in formation.
