Check out my Snowy Owl story and photos recently printed in the July/August issue of Bird Watcher’s Digest! The story, “Meeting the Neighbors,” describes an unexpected encounter with a Snowy Owl that launched my interest in bird photography. It also details other interesting birds I have found in Edmonds, Washington where I live.

The photograph above is from the story. It was taken in 2012 just as a I was getting into wildlife photography and is one of my favorites of all the shots I’ve taken in almost 10 years of bird photography.
